Nose: Black fruit such as blackberries and plums, and spices such as pepper stand out. 

Palate: Dry, with good intensity and persistence. A gastronomically versatile wine for stews and pasta. Its balance is very pleasing. 

Food Pairing: Medium textured dishes. Creole dishes in general such as rice dishes, stews, and dry dishes; grilled red meats and white meats, and pastas.
